An app that compares driving and public transport.
Why I built it
I wanted to know whether to drive to work or take the train. Route times alone leave out parking, walking and waiting, so I made an app that includes them.
How it works
The Android app compares driving with a park-and-ride journey through my preferred station. It shows where the time goes and recommends an option when the difference is large enough. I can adjust that threshold.
A Cloudflare Worker handles routing requests. The recommendation rules are separate from the routing provider, so I can test and change them independently.
